Terms of Use

Last updated: 23 October 2026 · Version 2026-10e · These terms apply to SabiCare on WhatsApp and any other messaging app we support.

Please read this. SabiCare helps you check whether a product's NAFDAC number is on the public register. It is an information tool, not medical advice, and it cannot tell you for certain that a particular pack is genuine or safe.

1. Who we are and what you agree to

SabiCare is operated by ADOPTAI CONSULT ("SabiCare", "we", "us"). By sending your first message after the welcome notice, or by continuing to use SabiCare, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use SabiCare. You must be 18 or over, or use it with a parent or guardian.

2. What SabiCare does

3. Not medical advice; limits of verification

4. Names, caregivers and other people

5. Your use of SabiCare

You agree not to: misuse the service or try to break, overload or probe it; send unlawful, abusive or misleading content; try to get around usage limits; use it to harass anyone; or use automated tools to scrape it. We may limit, suspend or block anyone who does, and may block a number or account that abuses the service.

6. Free use, limits and plans

7. Payments

8. Messaging platforms

SabiCare runs on WhatsApp (Meta) and may run on other messaging apps. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those apps, and we are not responsible for their outages, charges (such as mobile data) or decisions. Message delivery on WhatsApp can depend on Meta's rules (for example, free-form messages may only reach you if you messaged us in the last 24 hours).

We may occasionally send you news about SabiCare, such as new features or product-safety alerts. Send STOP UPDATES to stop them at any time (START UPDATES to get them again). This does not stop your reminders or alerts.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of what you send. You give us permission to process it to provide the service, as explained in the Privacy Policy, and to use it in anonymised, aggregated form to improve SabiCare. Only send what you have the right to send. When you report a product, you allow us to share the report with the relevant regulator or manufacturer.

10. Our property

The SabiCare name, logo, software and content are ours or our licensors'. NAFDAC and other third-party names and data belong to their owners. You may not copy or resell the service.

11. Availability and changes

We try to keep SabiCare running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or stop any feature, and may update these Terms; we will change the "last updated" date and tell you in the app of significant changes. Using SabiCare after a change means you accept it.

12. Disclaimers and limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows: SabiCare is provided "as is" and "as available"; we do not promise that results are complete, accurate or up to date; and we are not liable for loss or harm arising from your reliance on a result, a missed or late reminder, a translation error, the actions of NAFDAC, a manufacturer, seller or pharmacy, or events outside our control. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim (or ₦10,000 if you paid nothing).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

13. Ending your use

You can stop at any time and delete your data by sending DELETE MY DATA to SabiCare. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or the law. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as 3, 4, 9, 10, 12 and 14) will continue after you stop.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Please contact us first and we will try in good faith to resolve any dispute informally. If that fails, the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to bring a complaint to a regulator such as the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.

15. Contact

Message SabiCare on WhatsApp, or email hello@sabicare.com.ng. SabiCare is built by AdoptAI Consult.
